www.gigposters.com

has some ace ones.. there's a lot to look through though!

there's a guy here in Cardiff

who does amazing posters. He's called Casey Raymond, no idea if he has a website but mayeb do a google on his name and see what comes up. He did the cover art for one of Future Of The Left's singles (maybe Small Bones Small Bodies) as well as for another Cardiff band called Truckers Of Husk. But yes, his stuff is ace.

anything by

Dan Reeves @ Fake French or...SeriPop people of the AIDSWolf fame.

I presume you all

Know about this site?

If not, enjoy.

hapshash and the coloured coat

a design team who did most of the posters for early pink floyd shows and the ufo club, as well as for many other prominent undeground psychsters of that time. one of them also ran the 'granny takes a trip' vintage clothing shop, which i read was supposed to be re-opening soon.

http://www.whocollection.com/hapshash_&_osiris_posters.htm

they also made a fucking great early tribal-psych/free jam/proto krautrock album called "hapshash and the coloured coat featuring the human host and the heavy metal kids" (phew), if you are into amon duul II or sunburned hand of the man.

Telegramme make excellent posters

Check out the This Town Needs Guns / Tubelord / Colour / Pennines one and the Maple State and Napolean III ones are amazing as well.

I own a few of Chris Summerlin's posters

http://www.honeyisfunny.com/

yeah, his is sweet

i got a lightning bolt one!!

Hi

www.honeyisfunny.com

is me. I'd like to say as well that they're all genuine, they're all posters that were actually used to promote the gigs in question, printed up in largish numbers and billposted in the towns concerned.
A lot of the screenprinted ones at Goodall Gallery etc are more like souvenir art related to the gig in question. Not that they aren't awesome, as they usually are.

I sell mine for 3 for £12 at the moment. I will also have a stall all weekend at Supersonic in Birmingham so come and say hi.

Chris/Speeding Train

PS

My girlfriend is selling a Decemberists Nottingham poster (see the R Goodall gallery for a pic). It's signed by the artist AND The Decemberists. PM me.

..

This is my favourite...
