I recently rediscovered Orange Rhyming Dictionary after my mp3 player sprung King Medicine on me whilst I was half cut on red wine. I love that record but I remember being left cold by Four Cornered Night and Perfecting loneliness. I think they both got a couple of listens each before I just gave up on them.

Was I right to ignore them or am I missing out?

similarly

thought Orange Rhyming Dictionary was great. Four Cornered Night has got some decent stuff, but feels a bit pedestrian. Didn't get the last album. They seemed very much a band of that time, late 90s...and split up when people stopped caring about that stuff.

I only own Perfecting Loneliness

but really really love it.

Wish List is a great song.

Orange Rhyming Dictionary is great

Sea Anemone is another great track off it.

Sadly, my copy died a few years ago, and I can't find it anywhere else.

Time to tap up my brother's record collection again...

^^ I went through that phase too

of listening to I typed for miles all the time. It always reminds me of Barton Fink. I love that movie.

Love Sea Anemone

and all of ORD. Their last album was a bit cheese though.

O.R.D.

is the only full album i've got, but it never really clicked for me, deapite being a massive Jawbreaker fan. Maybe I need to give it a more thorough listen.
