did anyone go? so gutted, just had the "report" from my mate who went and it sounds like it was incredible.
who is in the new lineup? i know andy gill and jon king are still playing, but apparently they were incredibly tight, so is it ex-members or something?

According to their Myspace
Thomas McNeice and Mark Heaney. Google says Heaney was in the Seahorses and The Shining and since has drummed for Klaxons and Badly Drawn Boy and McNeice was in, good god, El Presidente.
hahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahah
el LOLidente.
fucking christ, pack it in.
Good lord
I didn't think it was possible for a band like Gang Of Four to stoop so low.
They are headlining
Offset festival at the end of august..
that's Wire
.
The Kaxons drummer I saw on Jools was ace
could definitely handle sitting in w/ some geezer art rockers.
the vast majority of the time
they have their own drummer. stef something i think. i don't know when the drummerfrom the fucking seahorses would've played for them
Wire
are playing but Gang of Four headlining was on the posters at the Offset festival party in Hackney on Friday
wow.
was pretty sure wire were headlining
It was like this...
http://callofthewyld.blogspot.com/2008/06/gang-of-four-tom-tom-club-royal.html
...
"King is currently one of the most bizarre front men around, like a demonic Lembit Opik, pushing himself to the limits of physicality."
Wire are headlining,
Gang Of Four are also playing it though.
apparently
the slits too
and another brit post punk band i totally forget
There are alot of bands still to be announced,
new announcement due in next few days, alot of these are rather tasty.
did I say Kaxons?
I meant Klaxons
Haxons
Daxons
Gaxons
Faxons
Kaxons is a definite freudian slip.
Gail Ann Dorsey was on bass on Friay.
The gig
was really fucking incredible... Played all the old stuff but it was much better than some punk revival shit. From what I've heard, both Wire and Gang of Four will be at Offset.
wowz
I'm well going Offset now
The line up was:
Andy Gill on guitar, Jon King singing, Gail-Ann Dorsey on bass (she's in David Bowie's band) and Mark Heaney on drums.
In his defence, he was very good. From where we were sitting he had the same style as Stephen Morris. Very minimal and powerful.
