For non rare things
I think i paid £21 for an import version of Fingers Crossed by Architecture in Helsinki. HMV in London.
I remember i've paid some extortionate prices for standard cd albums released in the UK, 15 quid each for all of my Elliott Smith albums (Roman Candle to Figure 8, at least).
And people wonder why the music industry is suffering...
i refuse to buy anything over about £12
its just extortion otherwise, and i just order it off the internet or something. fuck paying £15 for a fugazi vinyl when you can get it direct from dischord for £10 inc P&P
I think I paid about £22 for the Ltd. Ed of Cassadaga by Bright Eyes.
First time in years that I bought a CD from HMV, but I really struggles to find it online, even from the Saddle Creek store. Worth it for the artwork concept alone though!
