13 Songs

SITTING IN THE WAAIIIITING ROOOOOOOM

You're gonna get

basically every album mentioned by someone different here as there's a lot of love for pretty much every fugazi record out there....

I'd go for Red Medicine first... because I did!

yeah they're all great...

apart from the last two, in my opinion.
I'd go Repeater,if your first listen, cos full of hits and very accessible. But prefer Steady diet of Nothing...

hmmm...

GalacticStar3ruption would rather listen to Cooper Temple Clause!
OBVIOUSLY a much better band.......!

yep...

looks like it!
C'mon Galactic! Start a thread on Cooper Temple Clause! wahooo!

It's quite obviously

In On the Kill Taker!

Yep, I would.

Although I don't really listen to them much anymore, they were my favourite band 2 or 3 years ago.

whoop de doo

Repeater

followed closely by Teh Argument

we should have a sticky for this

Red Medicine
or just take a random punt on one of their albums cos they're all good

You can't go wrong, but......

as an intro:

13 Songs, Repeater or The Argument

Put it this way

they haven't made a dodgy one.

Repeater,

then The Argument, then End Hits.

IMO

I think 13 Songs is the perfect way in

The Best of Fugazi

would be hilarious...
My old favourite believe it or not was 'Instrument' but in all honesty...for me, you can't top their last release 'Argument'.

The first EVENS album is awesome too.

Marillion

If by 'best Fugazi album to get'

you mean you want to know what record would be a good introduction to their music, I'd vote for 'In On The Kill Taker'.

In On The Kill Taker

Is prob my fave, they are all awesome bu kill taker is pretty instant.

The Arguemnt however has some superb tracks on it. 'Full Disclosure' being a blinder.

wrong

Id go with the first one and work up.

13 songs - a warning

I bought 13 songs as my 'way in' and it never really grabbed me so I didn't invest in any more Fugazi output.

Several months later I stumbled upon repeater. Oh my God. I have not looked back...

So yeah, personally I wouldn't suggest 13 songs but - each to his own.

i suggest starting from the begining

although i didnt strictly do that. but, 13 songs.

One of the early ones like In On The Kill Taker or Repeater

ie. Before they over-produced everything (The Arguement, End Hits).
