I've a wee pondering for you all.
Have been sent to cover Glasto this year (I know that sounds a bit wanky, I'm not)but wasnt planning to show until Friday afternoon, due to me being a lazy arse, and being able to get a lift, instead of a train down at that time.
This means I was fully prepared to miss thurs..however I've just spied Glasvegas on the line up.
So my ponderings are:
- how important do you lot reckon thursday is? what do you think of its line up
- has anyone seen a set time list floating around cyber space?
if they aren't on till the evening, i may give in, get the train, and try and find somewhere to sleep for the night.yeah. good luck to me with that.
i'd guess
alot of thursdays bands are playing again at some point. that said, there's always some better gig somewhere you're bound to miss at glasto.

Thursday is equally important. Get down. You'll miss The Light Syndicate, Bonebox, Seal Cub Clubbling Club...

Wednesday and Thursday are usually mega fun and you are likely to catch some sneaky shows around and about if you keep an eagle eye out.

I think if you're covering the festival, its more about the experience and thursday is usually one of the best days cos everyone has loads of drugs at that point and is really giddy.
I've had some of the my best nights on Weds & Thurs

We normally arrive on the Wednesday and get settled in. We had to arrive on the Thurdsay last year and that felt a bit
weird.
Thursday is the best day
The relief of finally being there, the anticipation of what's to come, your body's still in prime form so you can get fucking ruined

Wednesday if possible. It's much fun. There's a Wrong Music Tent on thursday with Shitmat etc too!
I love the atmosphere on wednesday and thursday
...and the chance to catch a few extra bands can't be that bad either.
