Sonic Boom was one 3rd (of the quartet ha ha ha - sorry) that was Spacemen 3. Though sometimes there were 3 of them.
Think a more opiated Spiritualized - for Jason Spacemen was also a traveller in the starship S3. More electronic - Silver Apples - oscilliations etc.
