I'd say

Dig Me Out or Call The Doctor.

Listen to Jumpers from The Woods as well, because it's pretty much the best song ever written.

Dig Me Out

or All Hands on the Bad One. Combat Rock is on an album called One Beat, which is probably the S-K album I listen to least.

The colonol's not wrong about Jumpers, either...

Dig Me Out/One Beat

Others will doubtless disagree.

Oh, if anyone posts something along the lines of 'Hey, you should check out Kenickie too!', ignore them.

I concur

on both points

One Beat is all sorts of brilliant, titular track especially

first paragraph: completely agree

second paragraph: completely disagree

Depends of what you're searching.

They were really noisy and messy at the start but became mellower and more melodic ( even if they still rocked !!! ).
I think my favourite is "call the doctor" but all of them album are ace ( even if the Woods was a bit disappointing ).

dig me

out

Start with

Dig Me Out. Or maybe All Hands on the Bad One.

And though it's not one to start off with get The Woods at some point as it's fantastic.

I miss Sleater-Kinney :(

Pretty much any of their albums from 'Dig me out' onwards

If I were to choose one it would probably be 'all hands on the bad one'. Although all of them are at least very good.

Good calls above on 'Jumpers' and 'One Beat' as well. Two of the best songs ever written.

I love One Beat

and pretty much everything else I've heard. For some reason though I don't listen to any of the other albums as much as One Beat though

One beat

is the most poppy, though the hot rock is my favourite.

Fucking love Sleater-Kinney!!

One Beat, call the Doctor & the Woods are the best three

One more hour is my favourite track..

Argghhh

Get Up is my favourite. To be fair they did very few 'bad' songs.

Sure All Hands On The Bad One...

is the most poppy? That is full of big stupid pop songs. One Beat is a bit rocksier.

About the same

But always regarded one beat more pop. They are only a few years apart.

The Woods is my favourite of theirs

Mindblowingly awesome

^ this

I can't understand why some people were disappointed with it.

^ don't listen to him

go for dig me out

Urgh.

CALL THE DOCTOR

they're basically all good though.

Whilst we're on the topic

of SK, if anyone in London/Brighton is a guitarist/singer and is interested in a band of that vain then PLEASE let me know..??

Cheers

erm no-ones mentioned the hot rock?

i've been listening to that repeatedly over the last few days. gooooooooooooooooooooooooooood issssssssssssssssssssssssssss aaaaaaaa nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumber haha

the woods is absolutely brilliant and anyone who says it isn't is clearly an idiot.

think

i mentioned it earlier.
