I'm not going to JAG here but we've got a single coming out on 7" and we're held up over artowrk and its driving me crazy. Have any of you had singles/albums out and what worked for you?
We're a sort of in the ballpark of Violent Femmes/Jonathan Richman/Jeffrey Lewis end of the spectrum (whilst not being anywhere near as good as these).
Any advice?
P.S. the songs are called "highway be true" - a country number & "Love TBC" a plea for love to stroll into town.

Handwritten tracklisting on the back?

I declare a twee-off
Give your younger siblings (the younger the better) a load of Crayola and get them to draw endlessly with the promise of ice cream, then use a pastiche of the best drawings
It would depend on how it's going to be produced.
If it was a small self-released run you'd maybe have more scope for stuff.
