the other sounds music society at manchester university is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. or something like that anyway. we're going to be putting on wicked cool gigs, super fresh club nights and a variety of occasional film screenings/(showings?). anyway, it'll be brilliant.
the first gig is on july 13th at kro bar on oxford road. half-handed cloud, LAKE, mewgatz and some idiot called jam on bread are playing. it'll cost you £5 and will be the most fun you've ever had.

Half-Handed Cloud? Wow!!
That sounds far too good for any right-minded person to pass up. I think literally everyone should go to this gig, especially fans of bands like Danielson and the Olivia Tremor Control if they've never heard of Half-Handed Cloud before.

there aren't actually any people in Manchester when the students leave - they just pack up the whole city into a little box, store it in a factory just off the M56, and then put it all back together in September when the students come back.
