Watch: Radiohead's cover of Portishead's 'The Rip'
Posted: 11 Jun '08, 13:52
Already common knowledge, but we're contractually obliged to mention that Radiohead have offered up a live cover of Portishead's 'The Rip' on their website. Watch it by clicking this set of words.
Apparently Portishead themselves are well chuffed with it, so that's AOK. The main reason this sprung to mind was that the band are playing in the UK pretty soon, and we're getting excited. About being ticketless. But DiS will get there, no fear.
In other news, thanks to the release of a Best Of by their previous record company, EMI, 'Creep' is actually moving up the charts from it's position of number 37. Wowee.
See Radiohead doing another new song from Dublin last week.

Plus...
DiS (well, me and Kate) will be at the really rather wonderful Daydream Festival (http://drownedinsound.com/event/view/36785) in Barcelona tomorrow - expect a full review, and a taster for what you'll be getting at the UK shows. Marvellous.
