I heard from a reliable source
that Sean Adams (of DiS) made them change their name for 'commercial' reasons. Indeed, it was a key clause in their contract.
Is this true? And if so, do they resent Sean for chasing the money - not only in terms of the contract itself but also in the way in which he has systematically ruined his website in return for greater financial gain??

if they're a bit annoyed that a few years ago they were a really exciting, inspirational band who were set for great things...and then they waited for ages to release an album and when it happened, the mainstream didn't really notice and it was hard to get a copy?

I used to love Youthmovies, they were my favourite UK band - and now they've just drifted away.

if they've 'drifted away' - their new album was still their biggest release, in terms of records produced and media coverage, to date, and they've certainly reached a level where they're sustaining themselves as a group - which is more/further than a lot of their peers I'd say. Granted they haven't been propelled to stardom, but I do think they've achieved a kind of cult status which is a feat in itself.

loads of albums get good reviews, how many sell a decent amount or break even? Not that many. I'm guessing Youthmovies haven't shifted a load of albums, which is a shame.
