Prince has cancelled what was being billed as his ‘last ever performance in Ireland’, for reasons that have yet to emerge.

Whatever’s happened it appears to be “beyond the control of Prince and [promoters] MCD Productions” according to a bulletin posted at MCD’s website, though the show – originally scheduled to take place at Croke Park in Dublin next Monday, 16th of June – may yet take place next year.

This will be of scant consolation right now to the 55,161 ticket holders who should seek a refund from the point of purchase from 9am this Friday (13 June).

What an idiot

Evil twin

ala Shadow Link from Zelda.

Shadow Prince!

:]

It was either....

....a case that the tickets were too blinkin expensive or a rumour that Croke Park is only allowed to have 3 gigs on over the summer months. In the last couple of weeks Celine Dion and Westlife have already had go and Neil Diamond is due there shortly. That is all.

...

the old boy has also had a serious hip operation in recent weeks. Might have something to do with it. Either way he's not known for cancelling shows so I'll cut him some slack.
