I ust put this on for the first time in a million years and I'm afraid I'm enjoying it.

I pretty much hate this genre...
yet this album has so many good songs. Srsly.
love on the rocks
(with no ice)
Get yer hands offa ma woman motherfuckerrrrrr
It's a great album
the 2nd album was seriously slated when that came out but BOY OH BOY,Girlfriend and English Country Garden are great.
Yup
Permission is a great album.
I can't really get over how much I disliked them live
when I saw them in 2002 or 2003.
fuck being ashamed of enjoying an album
least of all the glorious Permission To Land
Geriatric novelty band.
Vile people too.
I don't think seeing a band
fall apart has ever been as satisfying as viewing the decline of The Darkness. When they were getting massive with Permission to Land, they gave loads of interviews are how music should be happy, over-to-top, celebratory...and bands who were occasionally melancholic and slightly darker in tone (whilst being a successful band) were ridiculous, since how could anyone not enjoy being rich and famous, etc. All highly amusing in retrospect.
I heard he spent £300,000 in two years on the gack though.
Musically, I think they're as bad as any band could be.
I dunno
I mean, yeah, Justin usually came off pretty bad in interviews but y'know, people are flawed sometimes, right? I can't see how some of the faux arrogance could easily have rubbed some people up the wrong way but he couldn't half knock together a lovely pop tune, eh? Loads of my favourite artists, musicians, creative people have been complete bastards.
