I used to be able to to a rubbish version of Tears In the Rain (a surprisingly beautiful Satriani classicalish piece). I've even forgotten that now.

or at least, I certainly used to be able to when I actually played guitar regularly. I should probably pick my guitar up sometime and see if I can actually still play anything.

hey when i the last 10 minutes of Boris at primavera i didn't think i liked them at first then I realised that he had a DOUBLE NECKED GUITAR and a BIG GONG. then I thought they were ok. then I think i did the devil horns sign which i havnt done since 2003.

but not at full speed, and crappily

i mostly play improv so i know very few tunes, and theyre all acoustic singalongs like someday and king of carrot flowers

People who don't play the guitar think it is impressive but you may have realised it's mostly just a load of easy hammer-ons. It is a load of guitarry toss.

I would like to be able to play 'Peon' by Cpt Beefheart. I learnt about 30 seconds of it ages ago but haven't bothered to try the rest. Five seconds of Peon is more interesting than all of Gary Moore!

Not all on one guitar though, obviously.

I started to learn Avril 14th by Aphex Twin before my high E snapped, which was ludicrously complicated. Should be getting that string replaced tomorrow so i can commit another day and learn about 10 secodns of music...

I've never been a technical guitar player though and it's very rare for me to learn songs nowadays, and i tend to fuck around more with sounds and writing music in my bands.
