Will Haven - WHVN

brutal, experimental hardcore. Probably not as good as 'El Diablo' in terms of content, but the production is vastly superior:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00000JRKV/ref=sr_1_olp_4?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1212742646&sr=1-4

get Carpe Diem

if you want no production
and enjoy metalcore without either drum or bass

i do

ST&C is going cheap at the moment.

I know because I want to buy it.

Dog Fashion Disco - Committed To A Bright Future

Not as good as Anarchists Of Good Taste, but of a very similar ilk and for 99p it's a steal

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00005UO6H/ref=dp_olp_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1212744293&sr=1-1

You might already have this / hate them,

but this was before Marilyn Manson became an ageing parody of themselves: like a gothic cartoon album and probably second to Antichrist Superstar

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000001Y5X/ref=sr_1_olp_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1212744491&sr=1-1

THISTHISTHISTHISTHIS: Beck - Midnite Vultures

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000033JZU/ref=sr_1_olp_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1212744742&sr=1-1

Aw man, i cannot describe how FANTASTIC this album is - really fun, completely stupid, superbly danceable. I like Odelay and all, but this kicks it to the ground

I need to re-buy this

as a uni friend borrowed it 4 years ago :(

i hated

midnite vultures. sorry.

i know theyre not called the blue red etc. but i mean the covers.if so then i think versions tops the lot.its incredible

the opposite of december and tear from the red

yes and yes.

I like them, but to be fair i don't listen to them too often...i don't need Versions <must....curb....spending....>

no you do need it for 57p

it really is amazing.the production is amazing.its got slide guitar and everything!

Yeah

Nagaina will shit all over your face with it's slide guitar riffage of awesomeness. It's pretty much worth the money for just that song.

Buy it buy it buy it. If you're a fan, you won't be disappointed...just think of 'The Shape of Punk to Come' by Refused when you're listening to it.

jesus

there's some bargins in there. i thought i was getting some good stuff (silversun pickups/campfire punk rock/plusminus) for about 3/4 quid a pop but i'm obviously not looking hard enough!

amazon is dangerous. i'm pretty sure it's gonna lead to some serious financial doom for me pretty soon :(

Minus - Halldor Laxness (88p)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000095IYW/ref=sr_1_olp_2?ie=UTF8&s=gateway&qid=1212755937&sr=8-2

Not nearly as traditionally hardcore as their first two albums, but still a mighty punch.

"Featuring a greater sense of melody and rock 'n' roll dynamics, it nevertheless retains that album's electronic elements and experimental edge"

Mink Lungs - The Better Button (1p)

"Tunes spew out, eclectic and harmonic, gritty and twisted the odd backwards loop intruding"

Quite fun, psychedelic tunes

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0000645HC/ref=dp_olp_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1212756169&sr=8-3

Orgy - Candyass (33p)

The horrible cover of Blue Monday is the only bad track on this album, but unfortunately the one everyone recognised them (or indeed didn't) for.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000009OPW/ref=sr_1_olp_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1212756823&sr=1-1

Tricky - Pre-Millenium Tension (1.73)

Legendary trip-hop album.

"Pre-Millennium Tension serves up a beguiling array of sound effects, electro distortion and fragmented lyrics that amount to a rich--if bizarre-musical montage."

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000001EA8/ref=sr_1_olp_4?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1212757014&sr=1-4

Basement Jaxx - Kish Kash (99p)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0000C8Y0N/ref=sr_1_olp_6?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1212757540&sr=1-6

Basement Jaxx - Rooty (88p)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00005J6UI/ref=sr_1_olp_4?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1212757540&sr=1-4

The Bronx are ace.

Also, check out the The Drips which feature the singer and the guitarist from the Bronx for some faster/poppier punk rock

yeah the drips are ace as well

Not sure.

I think Matt & Joby are working on those Bronx albums, so they're probably on hold at the moment.
