...a few weeks back and the overall response was reasonably positive (*remembers warm feeling at the time)
ANYWAY it's our single launch tomoro nite. Pretty much our biggest gig ever, I'm even bricking it a little. By all means come add to the pressure if you are at a loose end. There's free badges I believe...

BANG BANGS
We played with you once, I'm from The Toy Band! Hows everything goin for you guys, well I hope!?
Ah yes
I do remember you chaps! It's all rather good thanks - Friday nite was rammed, sweaty and... good :)
Yourselves?
Glad to hear it!
I like the single btw, good stuff! Yeah things are pretty good our end, we've got a single coming out July 7th (jag!) which we're pretty excited about!
nice one
will be sure to check it out! Ours is out 28th July (jag2) though we don't expect it to bother the charts too much. Yet...
how hard was it to get a show at the water rats?
Well
It's not the easiest, this is only our 2nd time there in over 2 yrs - though that's partially down to us having to postpone one last year. They take bookings a few months in advance and expect you to bring at least 30 people - and don't expect much from the door, we had 100 plus people there on Friday nite and got a completely shit deal. Last time I let my bandmate do the negotiating. Still, c'est la vie I suppose...
that sounds
like hard work :(
my girlfriend lives up the road while she's at uni so i thought i could stay there etc. balls
good luck though!
Its worth an email
If you particularly want to play there, don't mind playing earlier on the bill and are quite flexible with dates and are honest about what you can bring crowd-wise they'll probably give you a go...
