Yes, but remember...

Subs not dubs.

As far as dubs go, it isn't terrible, but Setsuko's english VA sounds completely wrong, and it just generally isn't great.

i would agree

i always favour subs but the dubs on GotF are rather good and it gives your mind more of an ability to process the story and take in the beautiful landscape.

ahhhh!!

only if you're mentally prepared to cry your eyes out and feel miserable for atleast 6 hours post-film. i made the HORRENDOUS mistake of watching this alone. :(

Dont want to be an arse

but im going to be. There isnt a nuclear blast in it, thats barefoot gen (also brilliant). I believe you'll find grave of the fireflies deals with incendirary bombs. But either way, war is hell kids, tissues at the ready and not the happy kind.
