Bought it yesterday and absolutely love it, anyone else in to them or the new album?

Not since Light & Magic

They kind of lost it after that.

It feels like a disappointment

following Light & Magic and Witching Hour. This makes me sad.

Didnt rate Witching Hour whatsoever

thought it was poor. I actually think its return to the form they showed on Light and Magic but 604 is still head and shoulders the best.

Witching Hour

is brilliant. This one doesn't sound much like the earlier albums, there's too few actual tunes on it. I was hoping for some kind of absolute awesome album continuing their progress, but it sounds like a huge step backwards to me. I'm upset.

^^THIS

X

i'm gonna try and pick it up this afternoon

i listened to it when they put it on their myspace and thought it was pretty enjoyable, with a few killer tracks. pitchfork reckons its a bit of a slow burner and thats always a good thing

^^^this

minus the Pitchfork bit.

i mean being a slow burner is a good thing

i dont mean i like it because pitchfork say its ok to like it

Witching Hour is superb IMO

and so is Velocifero. Funny, I always regarded Light and Magic as a bit weak in places, but to each their own. I have an average 3.5 hour weekly commute to work, so now it can be filled entirely with the greatest driving band in the world with no repetition.

It's pretty decent.

7/10

Ghosts is a great song.

I'll have to check it out

since I thought witching hour had it's moments although 604 is by far my favourite quite interested to see how they've developed their sound for this album.

Absolutely adore it.

Ladytron are my fave band still in existence, and this has some superb moments on it. Black Cat, Runaway, Deep Blue and Versus are the standout tracks for me.

I'm just waiting for them to put it out on vinyl. Witching Hour took months to come out on wax :(

This may be their most

consistently strong album. As mentioned above 'Ghosts' and 'versus' are tremendous pieces of work.

I don't think I can be bothered with it

I've liked each album a little less than the one before, the first one is the only one I occassionaly listen to now, although I should probably re-visit the others.

Yes you should!

Ghosts

is brilliant!

Much better

than witching hour. That album was dull.

^ totally!

i only liked destroy everything you touch on that album!

Those of you

who say Witching Hour was poor are mad. It's a terrific album. Can't wait to hear this one.
