Anyone else read this? It's probably the best bit of fiction i've read in a long, long time.

Yes
It's fantastic. Crazy, but marvellous. I've not read any of his other stuff yet, but I'd like to...
It's incredible
First book I read for book club. In my top 10 novels of all time.
are you coming to the next one?
If I get the book in time
then yes. It's the 26th isn't it? Please tell me you are going.
it is, and I am
see you then

Yes, it's fantastic. Although I don't know if I'm unusual in havimng preferred Duncan Thaw's story (Books 1 and 2) to the admittedly very entertaining sci-fi/postmodern elements.
I preferred the second section
because I found the coming-of-age aspect quite dull. Even though the other two (?) books were set in parallel worlds to the 'normal one' of books 1&2.
a parallel world, soz
I much preferred those books too
as seemingly did most of Book Club.
But yes I totally loved the book.
'most of book club'
yeah, it kind of tailed off in the end
I liked the real life stuff best, especially when he paints the church.
started it and not finished it.
in fact i shall restart it tomorrow morning :)
yes
it is my most loved and thus most read book
and you actually live in Glasgow too
I would like to have lived in Glasgow and then read this book.
