missing out
i'm not going to the outdoor show this year
a) you had to pay this year
b) the bill is mostly crap
c) it's sold out

Maximo Park were quite good last year but having to sit through Echo and the Bunnymen almost broke me :( Even after the relative high of Joe 'Is She Really Going Out With Him' Jackson.
I have a ticket (cost me £3)
and really really want to go, but I haven't even begun thinking how I get there from Derbyshire, have I got the energy to do this and Primavera in the same week, and where I sleep.
I feel the draw though to Baltic Square - Crystal Castles, Hercules & Love Affair, DIOYY, NYPC & CSS, and before this The Whip (who I have missed twice in the past).
I know its not sensible, but I will be there somehow.

I have an exam the day after,
so no. I probably wouldn't go, anyway. Lineup has slipped dramatically since Super Furry Animals headlined three (?) years ago.
There's something going on tomorrow at Northumbria Uni though isn't there? Crosstown traffic, or something. Lineup is ace, but alas, I have an exam tomorrow too.

The line-up's not great, but in all honesty it never really is. Its always great craic though. Especially if its sunny, and you're pissed.

Ive been
the last two years and its generally alright despite a mediocre lineup most years, soulwax nite versions last year was immense, as were SMD!!
Would quite like to go this year as all my friends are, but can't find two tickets anywhere unless i pay £30 odd quid on ebay :(
They're selling some on the day apparently, 5000 down by the quayside at 6pm.
