I stopped reading
when reviewer inferred the 2nd album was good...what I heard sounded like Wolfmother (who suck balls)... but I did kinda like their debut so maybe I'll check it one of these days. Ain't real high on my priority list though.
I did the same
Really didn't like what I heard off the 2nd album (although I did only here the singles, Freedom Fighters was appalling, the others I banished from my memory).
I thought their best stuff was 'walls get smaller' and 'new instrumental', although I liked 'the people' a lot too.
So
your solely judging the reviewer's music taste just because he quite likes the Music's first album, rather than just reading the whole review and accepting that your views on that album may differ but he might have something to say about this album?

I don't like the music either by the way, I still thought it was a good review.

Saw them at the QMU on Saturday....
and they were fucking immense as usual.
While i know a lot of people don't really like them I for one think they are arguably Britains best live band and I am very much looking forward to the new album!

they're utterly incredible.
and I agree with Walls Get Smaller/New Instrumental being two absolute beasts of tracks.
Too High is also fantastic.
I really hope they get some decent coverage this time round but I suspect the initial hype killed them.
Looking forward to this
I really liked their first album and though the second wasn't as good, it didn't deserve the bashing it got.
