You read DrownedinSound, so the chances are Foals are your favourite band. They’re certainly one of ours – so we’ve painstakingly amassed* this compendium to assist you as you trail the band across land and sea this summer festival season. Like Mel from Flight of the Conchords. Or Lee Harvey Oswald but less dangerous. Insert your favourite celebrity stalker here.
Cut it out and keep this guide, if you like. Foals FTW.

worst
news article ever??
i didnt think i could like Foals
and their brand of boring, mid-tempo, repetitive, soulless, factory-sheened directionless scenester bullshit any less. but hey.
bit much?
non?
not really
if think every one of those points is valid as an opinion.
definetely
a bit much, even though this here website hypes them to hell, some of their songs are a bit good
This brought the music snob
out in everybody.
Something tells me the tone of the article was hideously sarcastic but posting about Foals makes for plenty of easy traffic from those eagerly searching "FOALS TOUR11!!!1".
I like Foals
sarcasm more aimed at the easy traffic. To confuse them.
I think the Home and Away slant
just indicates it was a slow news day.
And Foals aren't that bad, so there's little need for all this frothing of mouths.
that 'olympic airways'
tune is pretty fuckin Rad though
Excuse ME, but:
a) I read DiS, and I don't like Foals
b) That isn't just any old Channel Island, that's Jersey, my home. Have a word.
(aside: JL is one of the most boring festivals in the world, however, the dance tent is usually pretty good... until this year, since they decided Pendulum needed another headline slot for a mediocre festival *slaps forhead*)
their album is
amazing. and the productions mint. and they're fucking well good live too! ya bunch of nerds! haha. I don't know about these big gigs they've been doing recently, but they've always been amazing at the diy type shows they used to play. played a few gigs with em and I cant see why anyone would have a problem. They're all unreal on their instruments and the music is clever whilst still having right good pop tunes.
and they're fucking well good live too
That explains it all really.
They've also
been announced for the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan in July.
I only know coz I'm going.
why
does everything on this website have to be an argument?
This is why:

7/10.
I don't think they suit big festival stages.
They'll bomb on the main stage at Reading/Leeds.
Their energy is only realised in small venues.
