My vote goes for The Mae-Shi cos I can't stop going on about them on hear and have been to two live shows recently and both times I have had the most fun ever seeing a band. The music is high energy diverse and an ace party soundtrack. There stage presance is ace and they get involved with the crowd for full on fin times.

they are pretty much scare but I quite like it.. takes me back to old rock clubs and their scar sections that always got the crowd dancing.
Art Brut
No one is better at crowd interaction and improvisation than Mr Argos. Every single time I've seen them they've found a different way to get the crowd involved.
Although when seeing I'm From Barcelona there was balloons, confetti, people invited to play kazoo on stage, and conga lines. Good Times.

Art Brut are the best live band around if you want to go to a gig for, you know, fun.
Eddie Argos can work a crowd like no-one else, and you can tell the band are having a good time and not worrying about posing or what the NME thinks. Beats Radiohead miserablism anyday.

So true. We put Lightyear on in a pub in my hometown years ago. I was on the door when they started playing, and went out for a fag. When I came back in half the band were butt naked, and the landlord of the pub looked to be in deep shock. They stayed at my friends house, and I won't repeat the depths of depravity that were reached that evening. Great band, split up tho haven't they?

Man Man are the tightest band ever
and also anyone that saw the man with the flute appear from behind the keyboard with the flute in such a magically priceless fashion would fall in love. The vocalist though technically bound to a keyboard wont stop moving round the stage... and you wont see such a diverse range of instruments on stage again.
They never stop, they didnt stop once during ATP despite the lead vocals going off looking for a new chair after breaking the stool from jumping on it too much, this bit could of been the highlight with the incessive screaming and facial expressions making everyone in the crowd laugh.

No real competition to them, the people onstage dancing as aliens and santas (which I was priviliged to be at the SECC) and the confetti and the giant balloons and Wayne's giant inflatable ball that he runs over the crowd in and....

The Spinto Band are also quite good fun, I saw them for some XFM show in a tiny wee venue where they could barely fit on the stage, and for one song where two of the members weren't needed, they had conga line thorugh the venue, which was pretty cool :D

Eagles of Death Metal
are fantabulous fun live, them on the carling stage at reading 2006 was like drinking liquid fun,
i convinced a friend to come with me to see them, even tho i knew absolutely nothing about them other than Josh Homme was involved in some way, but then Josh Homme wasn't actually there, but we were stuck at the front so stayed anyway,
it was the greatest thing i've ever seen, afterwards we came outside in the rain, really hot and sweaty, and both just went WWWOOOAAAHHHH YYYEAAAAHHH !!!1!
