first half good, second half not so good.
Aerodynamic, Digital Love and Harder Better Faster Stronger were all brilliant. But there were too many lame synth-pop ballads.

up to and including High Life is great, but yeah, too many cheesy synth ballads after that.
One of my favourite ever albums
The second half has some great moments - Superheroes especially but also Face to Face, Veridis Quo and Too Long.
It has a warmth that Homework doesn't - in fact the film (or at least the music videos I've seen) is the only thing I don't like as it appears to star the smurfs!
Too Long
is very aptly titled i reckon. i think that's my only criticism of the whole album.
i really like Homework and i think i prefer their 'sound' then but Discovery works better as an album, i think, plus i'm a sucker for bands that happen to morph into robots at the turn of the century.
so
i was just about to get tickets for end of the road, checking out the myspace of miracle fortress, who are playing and they've got a cover of digital love. not as good as the original, but interesting sounds, especially the percussion.
