why people hate that song so much. I love their less conventional stuff loads, and admittedly Folding Stars is a blatant shot at a straightforward, chart-straddling rock song, but it works so well (and is so moving, especially given the context) that I can't fault them for it at all.
I think Vertigo Of Bliss is definitely their best album though. Diary Of Always <3
To be honest, it wasn't the production that bothered me. The production suited the more pop-orientated songwriting. It would be interesting to see how it goes with the more crazy stuff. Remember, Puzzle was essentially about the death of Simon's mother, which he thought needed a stronger focus on lyrics, rather than inventive riffery etc...
Whatever style they come back with, it'll piss on most other stuff released at the time.
the law of odd album even album says
the new stuff should be odder than the scottish foos stuff on puzzle
Yeah
lets hope it will be.
The single or maybe its an EP has a song called 'Teeth or Mountains'
Sounds kinda odd so hopefully it is.
Sounds like the name of a Lightning Bolt song haha.
i dunno if that law applies to biffy
their first 3 albums all being immense and, well, biffyish. i hope it's like their first 3 albums.
I take it
there isnt much love for Biffy Clyro in this forum nowadays?
well,
some of the singles off their last album were horrific, folding stars gets a special bad badge.
i would say most of the stuff of that album is pants
apart from that their back cat is brill.
i don't get

diary of always
love that song!
vertigo is my favourite too.
vertigo
is easily the superior biffy album
oh
god yes.
Already?
I like the sound of this. I wasn't a fan when they released an album a year, as I jumped on the bandwagon somewhere between Infinity Land and Puzzle.
I hope it's more along the lines of the first 3 albums. Regression FTW ;)
yeah
apparently they have produced it with GGGarth again.
which doesn't seem like a good thing.
:(
