What's touch typing?

duh, bloody easy

particularly words/sentences I use frequently at work.

i can touch type like a muthafunka.

we had keyboarding classes at school when i was about 11/12. MS-DOS styles.

i can type without looking, but i don't put my fingers on the correct keys. more the art of blag than anything!!
according to a test i did yesterday, i can do 140words a minute. hmmmm! surely it just depends on how long the words are!

Took a couple of years, though. Presumably I could be just as good at a musical instrument as I am at typing if I practiced as much, but I always avoid the effort by just claiming fat fingers.

I was taught computing by nuns in my convent school. No word of a lie.

Incidentally: 'Computer Literacy And Information Technology': I now know why they included the 'and' in the acronym...

its easier for me to touch type now, i make more mistakes when im looking at a keyboard

but if i try touch typing, i never hit the right keys:(
