Repromoted as there's a few years still to be taken up - creating a Muxtape for every one of the last forty years: http://sweepingthenation.blogspot.com/2008/04/sweeping-nation-muxtape-challenge.html

I think i'll go for 2002

as there are some albums I love from that year.

Black Dollar Bills

This was released in 2003.

I think the original single

of Black Dollar Bills (in the stiched handmade packaging) was 2002?

i would do this

but there's no way i could do anything properly pre-2006. :(

If 1978

is still free I'll have a crack

Ninety-three is at

http://9t3.muxtape.com/

You may now pour out your unanimous praise for my general greatness. Ta.

Hmm,

fairly pleasing selection -dan- but I would have been super delighted with Blue by the Verve, Norman 3 by TFC, Jenny Ondioline by Stereolab, Cool like the Blues by Justin Warfield and Lazarus by the Boo Radleys. Top points for Cocteaus, Mazzy , Posies and Sabres. Should do my own I suppose...

So that's 1993 and 1994

that have Sabres of Paradise as the last track.

Oops!

Maybe should've checked. Not that there's anything wrong with a little artist repetition though...

True

I wasn't criticising, just pointing out the coincidence. Also, James has changed his mix so we no longer have 1997.

I noticed that!

The '97 thing, that is... I almost volunteered to replace it, cos I love a lot of '97 music, but then I thought it would be a bit cheeky...

(and I know you weren't criticising, but I wanted to be *different*, damn it!)

Message for poptimusgrime and -dan-

Muxtape did this - http://muxtape.tumblr.com/post/35731445/back-online-debriefing - and so your entries are among ten of twelve to have been deleted. What do you want to do about it?
