Gary Numan has been confirmed to appear at The Mighty Boosh-curated festival at Hop Farm on July 5.

Other acts selected by the comedy duo to appear at the Kent shindig include White Denim, The Charlatans and Polar Bear. That last'll be Howard talking, then.

"Having Gary on board is mental," said Fielding of electro pioneer Numan, who turned up for a guest appearance in the last series. "He is a hero of mine and was always a first choice, having him perform at our festival is almost surreal."

He continued: "We've never played a music festival before and a comic has never headlined at a festival before so we are seizing the opportunity and doing both!"

You've got two festivals mixed up here, haven't you?

The Neil Young one isn't the Boosh one, although they're in the same place.

^ This

Sort it out DiS, the forums are now a more reliable source of information!

^this^

you have got a mix up goin on here.

Good 'ol Numan

everyone's favourite fan-marrying tory goth.

I'm cringing already

At the thought of Noel (and possibly Julian) flouncing on stage during Gary Numan and doing some sort of "hilarious dance routine". Noel in his ridiculously sliver spandex and stupid hat. bah.

.

Noel is a fucking parody of himself at this stage

fingers crossed

Razorlight won't turn up on the bill...

I love Polar Bear I can't wait to see them again.

Numan is a legend that should be wicked.

I want more comedy news on this and I have my fingers crossed for Flight Of The Concords to play live that would be ace.

..

wild horses wouldn't get me to this. I have no desire to see two smug hoxton trendies massage their ego by booking shit 'electro' music.
plus just IMAGINE how many twats will be in the crowd. It'll be like an episode of Skins.

I'm off in the hope of good comedy

and my sis really loves Boosh so we are off for it. I'm dredding the amount of tits though.

the skins soundtrack

is so much better than the toss these two are going to dig up.

have robots in disguise been announced yet?

err

sorry hoxton trendies?

i always thought julian barratt was leodensian. and doesn't fielding live in camden?

this looks to be a classic case of repeating stuff you've overheard.

/rant over.

julian

lives around the corner from me, i think, i see him about a LOT, in n1

i also saw him at two atp concerts this summer

probably thinks i am a crazed fan

^ true that

I think Polar Bear are playing Lounge On The Farm down the road the week after... At least they've got camping

In fact thats silly

I don't think, I know...

The Thing is that...

this fesvial will do well regardless of bands that play or poor organisation skills.
The mighty boosh have a bigger fan-base than Phil Collins

Series 3

Was quite dross

agreed

.

series one and two

weird

Neil Young playing with these? it baffles the brain (except my morning jacket i guess)
