urgh. students.

die.

is this the one where they hired the bouncers?

it looks nowhere near as good as the mount pleasant parties...

mainly because they AREN'T in fallowfield...

Landcross Road is in Fallowfield isn't it?

God I can't wait til I'm a student. I'm gonna be such a freeloading irritant!

The girl in black at the very start is a really good friend of mine from school

However, that doesn't look like a great idea for a party. Silly Ruby.

Apparently it was really nice at first.

Boiling hot day and just a bunch of filthy hippies and students etc.

I've just gone on her Facebook

And it just looks like a dozen or so people sitting around on the pavement having a nice time.

No idea what possessed them to go so big like that. I'll ask her.

that looks like my brothers old st.

bu then, they all look the same don t they?

i wish i lived in that road...

that's fucking wicked

at 3.20 there's some old bloke whose like 70 admidst the madness!

is it not the same street

as the fallowfield trof?

I'm a student, but it looked pish

It happened on a Sunday morning too. I bet the neighbours adored them for it.

Exactly

I mean, I'm very much the kind of student who organises these kinds of things, but damn if that isn't a stupid place to put on a party, especially one so big and loud. And a Sunday morning!

10th May = Saturday, no?

Says so in the title. A street party's an okay way to do it, and that bit of fallowfield is 99% students anyway. It does sound like it ended in a complete shambles. House-parties in Fallowfield can be pretty awesome, though. Really wish I'd been at that one.

Was there, was quite a laugh

and a 'moment'...but there were a fair few twats causing aggro, etc.

Plus the usual "POLICE ARE FASCISTS" bollocks that everyone with dreadlocks felt compelled to spout. Party's over, just go home.

Well, maybe they would have

Had they not been bitten by police dogs and hit with truncheons before given a chance, no?

Sorry, but anyone there towards the end

knew exactly what was next, the police cordoned it off hours before they stormed it and their presence was getting stronger and stronger.

The DJ gave out multiple warnings as to what the situation was, for anyone in the crowd (which I don't even believe was dense enough so as to cut one off completely from the surroundings). Don get me wrong, it was fun - but the amount of people thinking they had some devine right yo be there till sun up was ree-dic-you-luss.

Looks like

the biggest collection of twats I've ever seen. People get carried away I think...
