"On learning on the partnership with Rupert Murdoch, User 'Aishapra' offered to whore herself out to anyone who would put her name up on wikipedia"

HA, a bot reverted it.

what you ccan see that too?

I'VE BEEN PUBLICLY REVERTED? Im speechless

Its outrageous

thats actually a fair fucking point, satire against monopoly and bigbusiness influences.

I don't think DIS is displaying that (apart from more ads) but its still a fair and worrying factor.

I think thats legitimate satirical analagy ffs

this is fun

Hurrah

Its back just got to get through the censoring

...

"In May 2008, MirriLondon and vikram_ had a mighty Internet DramaBattle that ended in tears for the social board. Though the reasons for the DramaBattle are unclear, what is clear is that vikram_ likes girls young and Mirri is financially secure when she has her breakdown due to sixteen continuous years of work."

oh dear.

i was hoping this wouldnt happen.

i love how that one doesn't get reverted

and the others do, heehee

Financed by Mick Hucknall?!

Hahahahahahahahahahaha.

why? why has my satire been reverted?

this is outrageous censorship of an issue that many on here will feel funny about (partnership with big manipulative business) even if it is not 'with strings' it is still of relevance (to ensure over time creative or bias influence is not exerted)

eh?

so you mean I have to actually post link to thread where i say it? fine I will.

nope just did that

and they still removed it. I only quoted myself. Cant take criticism it seems

its because its non-notable

and nobody cares.

sorry.

big business partnering indie sensibility

Is notable for DIS many would be concerned about the threat they percieve this may pose. Also many are affected by corporate advertising, a 'feature' that dis originally eshewed.

OK, Im not of note in DIS but the issue is, im not suggesting Dis IS selling out but to be alert to the issue is justified

sure. if you edited it saying that

many users of the forum were cautious about the whole affair and linked to a thread that showed such, that might be notable. what you wrote was just silly.

perhaps yes

Its been a very silly time on dis recently and ive just got caught up in the sillyness,
fair point, satire is silly.

Sensible knickers for me from now on

it was satire =]

Yeah and some wikinerd's porbably got the article on his watchlist..

magic

.........

"DrownedinSound.com or DiS is a UK based music webzine financed by Mick Hucknall and Paul Daniels which is dedicated to new music."

DiS signed Komakino...>!????
