Haven't seen Ladytron for five years so I'm more excited than a man of my advancing years has a right to be. The new album's a cracker.

no. astoria box office still has some tickets. hurrah!
They played for about 45 mins
It was very good. A few new tracks plus Seventeen, Blue Jeans and some other golden oldies.
Then the power went out on the mixing desk.
And now they're going to reschedule it. Which is fair enough.

I was there tonight. They played
for around 45 minutes before the gig ended. Will they really reschedual or was that just said so that the 1500+ crowd would leave quietly and without problems?

It wasn't just the venue who said that about rescheduling, the girls came out at the end and said it would be rescheduled so I for one believe them. It was a real shame cos they were rocking at that point, having just played the mighty Soft Power.
Regarding the new tracks, you can hear the whol of the new album on myspace, and very good it is too.

'high rise' was awesome
It was a shame that everything blew up
because they had been bang on form up until then - the new songs have bedded in seamlessly and this means that they can drop in the 'Greatest Hits' around them.
Roll on the rearranged date.

Does this mean original tickets will be valid for reschedule, or that we'll have to buy new tix?

for the new date, its in july sometime according to myspace
