I have
Twice from what I remember. Excellent musically but the singer is very very preachy, and that annoyed me somewhat.
Seen them 5 times (I think)
Only one was anything less than brilliant.
Just pray that Nate does more talking than Jake.
go see them
one song got dedicated to the sxe kids last time i saw them, but that was it.
unmissable really, they are that good live
A few times
Again technically brilliant, but ive never liked Kurt as a vocalist.
If you like Converge, you'll love them live!
^
jake as a vocalist?
does kurt
do much of the vocals?
Yes
go. Intense as. Incredibly cathartic, crazy energy, good setlist hopefully.
seen them loads.
the new more metal material 'jane doe onwards' comes across really meatheaded when live, and there sloads of floorpunching pricks. but other than that yeah its great.
Also more to the point
Is this not with Integrity?
Definitely go if it is!
im going :D
i saw them
at jillys in manchester with my gf of the time, we only went to see planes mistaken for stars (who pulled out! ggrr) but went anyway and left before the end as converge were just playing some kind of doom for like 45 mins wich was boring to say the least, i prefered them on cd
that sounds
amazing
if that happens at the london show i will die happy
I was there
I think. Was that the show Modern life Is War supported instead? Or time before? Either way MLIW stole the show!
have mliw broke up now?
:( if they have
Yes
Though the last album wasnt very good.
My love, My Way is one of my favourite hardcore records ever though!
by the sea is my fave hardcore song ever
i dont know wich one it was
it was about hmmm 4 or 5 years ago say?
Yes
everyone should see them at least once, not a huge fan of Bannon though.
If Knut play here again, definitely see them!
Saw them at The Peel in
Kingston, got bashed around by lots of sweaty kids half my age, but to be expected............ It was very good and intense though, my girlfriend liked it too................
.
Saw them in Manchester last year.
Was really quite something special, and I like Jake, he wasnt that preachy at the gig i went to and his style is unusual.
The place did seem to be full of meatheads though.
Hopefully get to see them on this tour as well!!
i saw them ages ago
on their Jane Doe tour, in leeds (josephs well) absolutely awesome!
