Hello.

I've got one of them interweb radio shows. Every Sunday afternoon.
Every week, I have an featured band type-thingy where I play 3 or 4 tracks from a top-notch unsigned band and tell the world how bloody brilliant they are.

So if you have a few tunes that you'd like everyone to hear and you are bloody brilliant, then get in touch

My show

is on wtnrradio.com and is available between 2pm and 10pm every Sunday.

I'd just like to say thanks to all the DiSsers who've sent me tunes. It's a real pleasure to give a little bit of exposure to people with talent. :)

hour hands

hey man...

check out a band called hour hands, its my band, i dunno you might like :)

let me know what you think

Eh?

Surely if you want to to do this and if you are a music fan, you will have a list of such bands that you'd like to interview.

No

I'm looking for unsigned bands so I can play their tunes on the radio. Not interviews. Please read posts before making daft comments!

Eh?

Surely if you want to to do this and if you are a music fan, you will have a list of such bands that you'd like to play.

No.

Because, despite my broad knowledge of music in general, I am not aware of every single band in existence. Neither are you.
I like to hear things I haven't heard before and so do lots of other people.

Now, if you're in a good band, please send me some mp3's. Otherwise, shutup.

To everyone else, please ignore Mr_JDTraynor and keep sending the tunes.

Three songs from our record can be heard at our myspace.

Let me know.

Thanks...

Getting some really blinding stuff from the DiSsers.

However, best thing to do is to get in touch via PM. It just seems to all work a bit smoother that way :)

Our Tunes

OK, by the looks of the other posts, online seems to be the way, baby. So here we go... Please have a good listen to Don't Look Too Far, Luck, Runaround and Useless at www.myspace.com/thedeadroads
Feel free to check out Sunshine and Nothing's Wrong too... but i think they are probably a bit long for radio play.

Ta,

Damien

your show

Hi there. I play in an unsigned (and bloody brilliant) band called The Dead Roads and we are definitely up for sending you our EP. Do you want a link to our tunes or do you prefer good old fashioned hard copy?

Damien

Linky

I like to have a listen first before making promises! ;)

Sirkus

some old tracks on the myspace.comsirkussaigon

will also update you when new tracks are uploaded.

STOP!

Ok. I've been absolutely amazed at the high standard and bloody brilliantness of the stuff I've been sent, but I now have the problem (a nice problem) of having far too many bloody brilliant bands!

So I hope no-one will be offended if I call a halt to proceedings for a bit.

I've got about four months worth of bloody brilliance to get through and if things get much more brilliant, you might send me stuff and not get it played on the show this year!

So I shall resurrect this thread a bit further down the line. But for now....no more please.

And thanks again everyone.

p.s. wtnrradio.com every Sunday, the show is available between 2pm and 10pm and at any other time by clicking on the turntable icon on the left of the page - "Has It Got Guitars?"

Cheers

Andy
