Which laptop to buy?

Looking to spend 300 quid-ish. Require it to run basic office programs, hold music and play Rollercoaster Tycoon. Something around 80GB.

I'm impatient so need something that doesn't take 6 days to load.

Whilst i will appreciate any help, don't post anything in too much computer jargon as it will catapult over my computer-incapable head.

Is this equation possible to solve?

Have a look on the manufacturers websites

and have a look.
You should be able to get 1GB RAM and a 100GB hard disk for that price.

Shop about?

I got a Fujitsu in the end, mainly as it had a decent graphics card.

umm, try looking on www.dabs.com and see what they've got for the price.

you're a kind man.

Now: onwards to waste time and spend money! ZING!

Is there any make to AVOID AT ALL COSTS??!

They always break. I'm on my third replacement and it's slow as hell.

the reason i'm getting one is

because my Dell desktop died.

They were already culled, but thank you :)
