Much love for the Wiz', possibly my most favourite purveyors of smog-encrusted, super fuzz.
All their albums are pretty amazing, with the exception of 'Let Us Prey' which is a bit of a non-starter. My picks would be 'Come My Fanatics' and especially newbie 'Witchcult Today' which is definitely more song based, compared to the teutonic, drugged out jams of old.
Basically, if you're after more Dopethrone-ish stuff stick to the first 3 lps, if you want some cleaner, straight-up heavy doom 'n' roll the last two albums are where it's at.
Their guitarist, Liz Buckingham, is also seriously tasty.
