Got this in the post today; holy frickin yes! They sound like almost a completely different band it's like white-boy funk with just a dab of Kentucky Fried soul.

I'd recommend rooting for Highly Suspicious - on first listen I even questioned whether the right CD had been sent to me.

I might get this

I use to love Z I haven't dug that out in ages though. I wasn't blown away by the evil urges tune that they stuck on their website a while back. Sounds like its a good un though.

I'm listening..

for the first time; the middle section has slumped somewhat - its reminiscent of Creedence covering John Denver.

fair doos

it took me a while to get on with Z mind. It might grow lots

yeah

I was gonna say Z is probably my least favourite as there's a lot of filler among the killer.

At Dawn is my favourite with It Still Moves a close second.

And certainly best suited to the stage.

i hate this

with a passion. highly suspicious sounds like Scissor Sisters.

haha

you're not far wrong. I think its a brave move, one which I'm glad they've taken as more of the same would've been anti-climactic.

The 8-minuter Touch Me I'm Going To Scream Part 2, is like Chicago disco. Its a really odd record, but one which I'm eager to play again.

i dont really think its brave

i think it was obvious with Z that they would go further in this direction.
horrible album IMO though, Aluminium Park is the one saving grace.

Highly Suspicious

is just about the worst/best song MMJ have recorded
