Essentially...

a more evolved and 'contemporary' version of the Minor Threat/Gorilla Biscuits etc etc sound I guess?

Do they count?

Inevitable genre confusion. But if they do count, then they would be top of my list.

i'd need to be in front of my CD collection for a more considered response but...

Daughters!

Pulling it to post-hardcore is a bit excessive, but I love you. So it's ok.

I agree wholeheartedly with most of those bands.

I have no idea what this means but..

some people said.

At The Drive-in
Fear Before The March Of Flames
Yourcodenameis:milo
Youthmvovie Soundtrack Strategies

These are all great but I still don't know what everyone is on about.

hmm

I'd say Youthmovies were just an indie band, based on the 2 times I've seen 'em.

But what do I know.

2 other people said them, that's my only reasoning behind it.

They used to be punkier and heavy back when they released their EPs.

Yeah I remember...

First time I saw em (supporting 65dos in a little room in Sheffield), they did seem thrashier and fun, but now its a little like they've disappeared up the arse of pretentious arty rock.
