First thing he says is "Oh thanks for turning up this time" which sounds really funny written down, but they he said it was really aggressive and hostile.

He kept slating Spanish education because no one was guffawing at his rubbish witticisms about Whistler's Mother, and he kept calling everyon in the crowd "Juan" which started to rile the Spanish parts up (which admittedly at Benicassim is only about 4% of the audience) who started booing a bit.

As the set wore on in started putting in less and less effort and by the end of it he had really infuriated me

because i really do enjoy some of his music...but the last 10 years have been self parody of an increasingly dislikeable character
