Good stuff.........

when is that out again? Next Monday?

It's out now

because I've just realised I picked it up at lunchtime and for whatever reason put it back down thinking it was last month's.

:(

for second time the CD hasnt been included in copies at WHSmith.

damn them

can you PM me the branch so we can make an ineffectual protest that they'll wholly ignore?

yes

Nottingham Victoria Centre.
try getting anything but a "dunno" from them and you will have done better than me.

I got mine at Borders

And the CD was barely stuck to the front with one tiny sticky bit. All of them had fallen off the covers, and I had to fish around to get on to take with me...

More glue next time people!

^ I echo this post

I've just picked up my copy from the Bournemouth Borders and approximately 13rd of the copies have had their discs swiped!

BTW, what is WHSmith's rationale for removing the disc?

people who steal free CDs

go to hell. INDIE HELL.

hmm...i feel a spin-off thread coming on...

Lil Wayne, Rolo T and HEALTH

Cmon post, make papa happy!

I need this

looks like I'm trekking over to Totnes on Saturday. I wish somewhere in Torquay would stock it!

You should get your local newsagent to order

you in a copy or subscribe!

I might just do that

I can't afford to subscribe yet!

um...

i'm told subscribers' copies are going out a few days late - but only 'cause there's an additional free CD (for subscribers only) "...in association with the Green Man Festival including stuff by Black Mountain, Nina Nastasia, Cath & Phil Tyler, Richard Thompson, Fuck Buttons, Wild Beasts, Los Campesinos!, Super Furry Animals and Howlin' Rain..."

so, sorry. and, hurrah!

ah balls, still need last month's copy for chipmunk.

got any lying around?
also, smoosh! gonzales! the advisory circle! adem! lil' wayne!!
god i love plan b.

indie rec shops

usually have back issues, or you can order from the site. or build a time machine.

passed on...

...the info about insufficient glue - also, subscribers shd have received their copies by now, right?

Excellent issue as ever

Still the CD/glue issue though.

I bought this the before ATP

but haven't got around to reading it yet. I listened to the CD the other night though. It's a mixed bag...

yeah -

they often are - it's usually the label/festival curating them, and so the main goal is to offer as wide a range of stuff as possible as an intro (we have vetoed some stuff in the past, though).

subscribe

it's the way forward! Not only did I get my CD I got a subscribers CD too. 2 fab CDs and an intelligent, well written mag for about 3 quid. These guys are amazing. You should all subscribe.

Oh and I am not employed by Plan B btw.

oops

i bumped it again...

There's no shame in bumping this thread

it might drive out some of the utter shite clogging up the music board at the moment ('bands with girls...' etc). Did I mention the photography? Very very good live photography. The Rolo Tomassi Photo is one I would've cut out and put on my wall back in the day when I was allowed to do such things. So, yeah, subscribe it's great.

I concur

This is the best monthly going at the moment. Keep up the good work and all the best to Everett on his new life abroad. That Planet Mu CD is great too.

wow

can I quote that! (the rt pic is mine!)

www.owenrichards.co.uk

we used to do prints-you-cd-buy...

will query photo eds as to whether we might again (they were not super-cheap, due to being very nice quality indeed).

You certainly can

Good work. You manage to capture the live energy fantastically well.

good issue

the singles panel is always funny, the amsterdam article was as well and the diamanda galas interview was brilliant.
