Eats Tapes – http://www.eatstapes.com/

Marijke Jorritsma and Gregory Zifcak, aka San Francisco’s Eats Tapes, specialise in noisy, spazzy techno bangers with irresistible hooks using a battery of hardware sequencers, synths, modified drum machines, cassette players and a midi Nintendo. Signed to the Tigerbeat 6 label (Home to the likes of Kid606, Numbers and Quintron & Miss Pussycat among others) their explosive lives shows are close to a life-affirming experience. Get ready to dance!!

Jay Reatard – http://www.myspace.com/jayreatard

Having been kicking around since a teenager in seminal punk bands The Reatards, Final Solutions and Angry Angles and more recently in the synth-heavy Lost Sounds. Jay delivers his own forceful punk-rock show for the first time on these shores following an appearance at the All Tomorrows Parties festival. His 2007 record Blood Visions is jam-packed with deranged, intense and fearless nuggets, most of which are less than two minutes in length. This is not a show for the faint hearted!

Sweet Baboo – http://www.myspace.com/sweetbabootheband

Sweet Baboo brings his country-tinged one man show to MiMB. Having been described as "sometimes sick, sometimes affectionate" by MusicOMH.com, he draws comparisons to Jeffrey Lewis, Beiruit and one of his heroes, Daniel Johnston.

Red Blooded Women – http://www.myspace.com/redbloodedwomenmusic

Red Blooded Women are one of the freshest girl groups around but already attracting worldwide press. ‘You Made Your Bed’ instantly featured as a Popjustice.com Song of the Day. “Bored of the same old bands?? Well, look no further than new girl group Red Blooded Women, tipped for big things this year.” – Oliver Grady, Star Magazine
