On Thursday 8th May, the amazing, brilliant, fantastic Les Savy Fav will be playing live at New Slang in Kingston!!! This is going to be incredible!

Their most recent album 'Let's Stay Friends' was one of the best releases of 2007, and we are really looking forward to this show. They are without a doubt one of the most entertaining live bands around, what with front man Tim Harrington's antics of running around venues, kissing audience members, and on-stage costume changes!

In support is one of our favourite new bands, We Are The Physics! Their Devo inspired post-punk mayhem will appeal to fans of Dartz. Their debut album comes out the week of the show, and we expect it could well end up being a contender for record of the year!

It's £6 with a flyer, a print out of the New Slang mailout, or in advance. Otherwise it's £7.

Advance tickets are available from Banquet Records in person or online here...

9pm to 10pm is happy hour with most drinks at £2.10, and before 11pm you can get Salitos beers and VK flavours for just £1.60.

pre-atp party?

Never in a bazillion years would I have thought

that the Fav would be playing a mere 1.5 miles from my house in Surbiton.

Now that they are, I'm only fucking flying to Argentina on my honeymoon that day, aren't I?

Cancel.

The (soon to be ex) wife will understand.

exciting

this is a couple of days away

£6 to see Les Savy Fav!
Bargain of the century.

Not arrived yet though. Should I worry?

Do you know stage tmes for the bands yet?

Similar to my question

on the Oxford thread.

This won't sell out, will it?

I'm so excited!
