No, not DiSers, but sheets of paper that adorn walls, here, there and everywhere.
Came across this site that has quite a selection of nicely designed posters (the couple for Why?'s Alopecia and the Battles ones are my faves).
So check it out: www.thesmallstakes.com
(this is in no way a JAG - I have no affiliation with these people)
JAG
cool posters though
really cool!!!
i might buy one...
they look pretty nice
but why pay $25 when you can acquire perfectly good posters for free courtesy of the walls of gig venues!
true,
sense regained, wont buy one
JAG
Henry got the JAG.
Gig Posters are coming back! I'm getting an awsome screenprinted, numbered and signed Liars/No Age poster, that I got at the show from a local artist, framed right now.

chris summerlin (from lords) is a really good illustrator as well

http://www.gigposters.com
gig posters
that site is def one to get lost in for a while then come out of completely skint. Very nice TV On The Radio artwork in there. Ta for the link.
I love
the guy that does the posters for Damn You.. pretty cheap too
http://www.myspace.com/speedingtraindesign
Can you buy the posters off gigposters.com?
Couple of Animal Collective ones I really want!
Unfortunately not
Aside from the classified ads.
Tho I think they're missing a huge revenue stream by not allowing that and taking a cut of sales. But hey...
Some of the people that have posters on there will sell them off their own websites so just follow the links if you find stuff you like.
Also there's a lot of people that put posters up there that aren't "official" gig posters, ie, they'll pick a gig and make a poster for it. Which is kinda weird, but if you're after official posters then you need to bear that in mind.
^^^ I love the posters that
Chris Summerlin does.
that small stakes artwork
looks similar to cams work.
www.myspace.com/twoducksdisco
the pictures are little clickable icons that pop up
he has done loads more recent stuff since the work on his page though, he hasnt updated it in forever
I really want that Low one
