I can still listen to this record and love it like the first time i heard it. I cant bear to think theyre anything short of incredible live even though people say they are sometimes crap.

††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††

all characters can be found by just searching wikipedia and c+ping them

whether DiS will allow them is a different matter tho

BAH

cheating.

go away, and come back when you've found out.

or

just look at symbols and characters on microsoft word

Great album.

I'm going to say that again actually.

Great album.

it is

a great album :D

indeed

it is

it is

a great album ^^^^^^^^^
but i'm VERY excited about sebastian
cannot wait for motor etc.

motor is terrible, almost unlistenable

and 'dog' (on ed rec 3) is also rubbish. walkman was the high point of his producing career if you ask me

agreed...

...except Ross Ross Ross is his best for me.

I love it

Definitely looking forward to them in July :D

Somerset House

imagine... they might crack the limestone

Link for tickets?

Please?

seeing

them at benicassim :D

cowcow

Is that wishful thinking or have the Somerset House gigs been announced?

A summer gig at SH is always one of my highlights of the year and Justice would be amazing.

Well...

there was nothing official on the somerset house site a few days back, but on justice's myspace there's an upcoming show listed as 11th july - somerset house - london

so we'll have to wait and see!!!

D.U.N.N.O.

I'm going to see them at Oxegen*
:D

I'm going to weigh in with some negativity

and say it's a pretty 'meh' album.

No beats or bass to speak of and whole lot of mid range nonsense that distracts from establishing any sort of a groove. I can see why so many indie kids love them, they're like the electro equivalent of muse or something. All bombast and no delivery.

Your speakers must be shit

or have no bass response at all, saying that I can agree they could have put a bit more in there.

no i fully agree

there is far too much mid-range, and it's meant to be an electro dance record, yet on tunes such as phantom, they build it up really well and then when it really should drop with something awe-inspiring, it just falls down and trails off. give me something like digitalism over this anyday.

^ Yes to Digitalism,

Agreed.

Nah, they're wicked.

One of very few dance records you can listen to all the way through and not get tired of, or want to skip through.

Depends what you mean by dance record

There's a handful of tech house/minimal techno records that work really well as albums these days.

Can you suggest me some names?

I've been meaning to get into minimal techno for a while.

Cheers.

Well...

Even now I find it hard to differenciate tech house from minimal techno and electrohouse and microhouse just plain 'minimal'...but I can't be bothered to try. I use the term 'minimal techno' lightly. I hate sub-genres, and it all falls into the same catagory for me.

Besides...these are good dance/electronic records...

Isolee - Wearemonster
Gui Boratto - Chromophobia
Kompakt Total 7 Compilation
False - False 2007
Vladislav Delay - Multila
Pantha Du Prince - This Bliss
Chloe - The Waiting Room
The Field - From Here We Go Sublime (not techno at all, but definitely minimal)
Minilogue - The Girl From Botany Bay
Ellen Allien / Apparat - Orchestra of Bubbles
Booka Shade - Movements

* Differentiate

ooooooooooooo

Many thanks!

Heard most of the names, don't think I've heard any of the records.

Saw some of Booka Shade at Sziget last year though: he was good but I was having a blazing row with my girlfriend (who'd wanted to go to the fucking Jazz Stage) so wasn't really paying attention.

poor bastard...

Booka Shade's album doesn't work as well as others in my opinion, but has some excellent songs.

For me Chromophobia has been one of the best records to come out in the past year, not just in the dance/electronic catagory.

both times I saw them

They were utterly amazing.

HUGE amounts of fun. HUGE!

If you've seen them once

you've seen them a million times

I don't like to swear

But † is a fucking awesome album. I love it more with each listen. I have seen them live, at Roskilde last year, however it was the last act on the Sunday night, meaning my inebriated state only grants me a fuzzy memory of thumping bass and a giant glowing cross.

I tried to see them on 14th Feb

but the touts were asking £70 a ticket.

I LOVE THIS BAND / ACT / DANCE COMBO.

Still, what I want to know is HOW DID YOU DO A CROSS ON THE THREAD TITLE???

im hoping

the're the 'special guests' for radiosoulwax at the royal festival hall on thursday, saying that id rather see vitalic over Justice..that V Live album is amazing...

ALT + 0134 = †

All special characters have an ALT code I think, just need to use the numpad.

Superb album.

Live the atmosphere was great - it wasn't so much to do with them being there, it was just the fact that it was Justice being played really, REALLY fucking loud.

yes

excellent album
i have seen them twice. the first time was at field day which was great, if a little quiet. the second time they were supporting klaxons and that was great too. i like justice.

If...

... you like Justice you should check out Teenage Bad Girl. They're album is alreet.

True

Cocotte is really good. Think their over in the UK sometime soon. Definately worth checking out

i think i prefer their remixes to their orginal tracks

they are all awesome.. good album though, dont get me wrong

The Justice essential mix,

have any of you heard it?

Overrated.

Thought the album was a massive let down compared to the early promise. Maybe I'd just been listening to the original 12"s for too long?

Digitalism album was miles better.

lol

i have found my enemy.

I’m no hater

I probably would’ve enjoyed the album more if it hadn’t been for the bandwagon jumpers and massive amounts of hype that surrounded it. At times it was like some people had never heard of dance music before, and I even remember reading that some people though it was better than ‘Homework’ and more significant. That couldn’t be further from the truth really.

i enjoy

cross more than i do homework regardless of how important it is. And homework was the first record i ever owned.

Good 1st to own that.

Each to their own I guess, I just can't show love to an album that has a track like 'Party' on it, it's utterly terrible.

The Night Facilities remix of it is pretty good though.

weakest

track on the album fo sure, but i have made my opinions made on uffie.

Saw them at Birmingham Academy supporting CSS

and the atmosphere was so much better for them than CSS. They were brilliant, even if they were just a couple of guys bobbing their heads a lot with a big light-up cross.

Brilliant album I agree...

I have DVNO and The Party though.

Justice, please stop using vocals.

Thank you.

By have...

I mean hate.

Maybe

but uffie is hawt...
Valentine is too good though. TOO GOOD.

I love Uffie

it's actual love I swear

Back off.

She's mine.

face it

shes none of yours :(

Uffie is a bint

Can't stand the girl. Couldn't be more fake if she tried, god knows what Ed Banger are thinking...maybe it's one for all the scene kids girls.

Definately would mind.
