This is whats happening:

Chicken breast with olive oil drizzled over it and cracked black pepper sprinkled on it. Then wrapped in foil and cooked in the oven.

Fresh salad consisting of, 1 red pepper, 1 tomato, lettuce leaves, spring onions.

Mashed potato with a chopped up scotch bonnet chillie mixed in with it (its delicious - but I have copyrighted it I'm afraid).

Okay, it's not that good.

What's your culinary speciality then?

kegeree

mixed with rawk and a bit of cowbell?

wrong thread

Anyway kedgeree:

slice and chop up some onion

cook it with a pinch of turmeric, curry powder, cumin seeds, and chilli flakes

(make your eyes water)

mix this all up with freshly cooked rice

chop up two mackerel fillets and put them in the pan with the rice

squeeze a bit of lemon on it and add a tiny bit of salt

chop up some parsley, garnish it

you can chop up some hard-boiled eggs to put on the dish, but i find that's a bit much

it's not a speciality, but it's really tasty and filling :)

I got taught

an awesome chilli recipie.

It involves backed beans. Damn fine.

Thai Green Curry

can do a fairly reasonable curry

Chop up some fresh beetroot, and cook for a bit, add red onion, chicken thighs, curry leaves, chopped chillies and chopped ginger. cook for a bit more add in chopped coriander. mix together strained yoghurt veg boullion (stock powder), ground cumin seeds and madras curry powder, add to mixture. add some milk and coconut cream.

Rice: half a cup of basmati and full cup of water. Add in a little turmeric and creamed coconut, bung in microwave for 14min.

That's a fairly decent meal.

I am going to bookmark this page

and try all of these recipes out.
