Has anyone got the album yet (For Emma, Forever Ago)? Its one big pile of awesomeness isn't it? Totally not what I was expecting - I thought it was going to be some sort of creaky chair Iron and Wine type folksy thing, whereas it comes across as more of a downtempo folk version of TV on the Radio. Anyway, It's great - so get it now.

I love it!

Such a fantastic album. I've got tickets to see him in London too, should be fun!

Agreed.

Its a really beautiful record. Just totally absorbing.

Any word on the London church show?

There was a thread about a supposed show in June I think.

Social will be great but after 3 days of ATP, no chance..

that's what I figured

is he playing at ATP? I reckon he'll be added if he's not already confirmed

Yeah he is

Wish I had a ticket, does anyone know if he;s doing a national tour or just playing London?

he's also supporting

iron and wine at the forum in may if you didnt know

He's not playing EITS ATP

or at least, he's not on the current line-up. He's playing the other ATP.

I know

it's listed on his myspace but I cannae find tickets on sale anywhere for love nor money. Am hoping they aren't on sale yet rather than sold out, I would cut off a limb rather than miss this.
if anyone knows more please tell!

awe...

some amazing tracks, skinny love is a favourite at the moment, listened to it about 5 times on the train this morning

He is on in Berlin

when I am there. Might go, but that would be at the expense of some filthy german techno in a basement.

Any ideas which is best?

depends on how you feel I guess

For Emma took me a while, but now I totally love it.

German techno though, I don't really know too much about that...

Its filth

utter filth

Crap..

I'm in Berlin the week after! That venue is supposed to be amazing.

Album of the year so far.

(pushed close by Beach House - Devotion and Why? - Alopecia though.)

It's a stunning album, feels more personal and absorbing than any album i can remember hearing since Either/Or.

And completely get the TVotR thing. In fact it was the very first thing i said after listening to Flume for the first time.

definitely a top album of the year.

incredible voice.

Finally got it but...

have yet to listen to it...
Too many things
Not enough time...
