Weezer (although they're on a final warning)
Johnny Foreigner
Dan Le Sac vs Scroobious Pip (I've somehow managed to see them 4 times now and was impressed on each occasion, particularly Secret Garden Party 2007, there's a lot more to them than 'Thou shalt always kill')

Gregor Samsa !

Down I Go - Tyrant

This will be the best release this year, hands down. (Well, in my eyes.)

Oh yeah, and The Night Marchers - See You In Magic. Speedo <3

Rolo Tomassi?

Oh and I'd quite like to hear the new Atmosphere album.

"Nouns" (No Age)

And anything by anyone in my profile list and I'd like to finally find a copy of "The Velvet Gentleman' by Wendy Carlos (been looking for years)

^^This For Me

I mean No Age, I know nothing about Wendy Carlos (but if i see the album I'll let you know)

What is "Final Warning"?

Does this mean if Weezer drops another bomb you'll disown them?

Pretty much!

I actually thought the Green album was pretty decent, nice breezy power pop, Maladroit was great in parts too, certainly their most underated album, but I was looking forward to Make Believe so much and it's just awful.

Death Cab

The Faint
Late of the Pier
Plosives (???)
Glassjaw
Coldplay

Quite looking forward to the second part of Alchemy Index by Thrice as well.

Death Cab how could I forget

There's too many my meagre student loan will allow for.

Doves

.

ELLE MILANO.

frightened rabbit.
both are out on monday. yay.
I'm really not sure what else. Johnny Foreigner OBV but i'm really tired of reading about them on here, they're, as scroobius pip might say, JUST A BAND.

This Dan le Sac then

they're good?

imadethismistake

GUNS'N'ROSES

The Little Ones

KEITH
Longview
Those Dancing Days
Mudy On The Sakuban
A Silent Film
Longwave
Doves
Feeder

There are others but I don't want to go overboard.

:D

I knew I'd forgotten one!

...

Indelicates (though that's out on Monday)

The Last Shadow Puppets.

Forget what else...

Oh...

David Cronenberg's Wife...

The new Tilly And The Wall first and foremost,

Rachael Yamagata

Amy Winehouse

and (you may laugh!) ...

Ashlee Simpson!

(also I'm curious as to how the Alphabeat album differs from the original but i bought it last year so I'm not as excited as I could be)

New Tilly album?

When?!

June 17th in the US

There are promo's kicking around the in the world so I'm hoping for a leak sooner rather than later!

Beep Beep

Spiritualized

My Morning Jacket

The Avalanches

...

the faint - fasciinatiion
sigur ros

Oh yeah and

Dillinger Four!!!!!

FUCKING HELL!!!

How could I forget that, other than the fact that I've been waiting nearly 7 years since their last album!!!

having just checked Metacritics release schedule

there's very little coming out soon which i have any interest in. Spiritualized maybe, but only based on my rampant Ladies & Gents fanboyism. Boris is vaguely teasing as well

arn't Wire releasing something this year

be it an EP or album? Whatever it is, that.

I want to say the Weezer album but i'm 90% sure it will be shit, sadly :(

Pitchfork says

Deerhoof's new album is due out in October too.

yeeeeeeeeeeeeah, that

and JoFo, and coldplay, just to see what it's like. Apart from that nothing really, looking forward to stuff just leads to disappointment.

Circle Takes the Square

and Rolo Tomassi.

CTTS!

When????

Franz Ferdinand

and don't take the piss, cause someone has just listed Feeders new album on here, which is surely twice as bad as looking forward to the new Franz one.

Franz Ferdinand

Elbow and Guillemots, as I haven't heard either yet.
Pure Reason Revolution. SO MUCH!

Please tell me Radiohead are releasing another album this year.

Other than that, Amy Winehouse, and Regina Spektor. *crosses fingers*

Regina Spektor

would be nice, although Begin to Hope was only half of a fantastic album (the first half)...

:O

I love all of it

Although there are some dodgy moments, yeah

They are truly amazing.

Oh yeah, hope so

I didn't think they work very quickly but it's two years between both DYBTB and Cookie Mountain and Cookie Mountain and now, and presumably Sitek's got a lot of producing others out of his system by now.

Belle and Sebastian

It's only going to be a radio sessions album, but still!

metronomy
