JUKEBOX VANDALS: "Infectious indie pop with jagged, uneven guitars and
unexpected chord changes, plus there's a late 60's garage pop thing going
thru early Who righteousness. Fine work." - BugBear Promotions

STEVE BLAND ASSEMBLY: "Poppy, jazz-tinged tunes are the order of the day
with the Steve Bland Assembly. Namesake track on this self-released EP has a
decidedly Jamie Cullum vibe to it, although this is far less smug and all
together closer to Ben Folds than anything else. Piano drives the song as
Bland muses on the modern day eutopia that is Luxemburg - a world full of
rainbows, where John Peel and Bob Dylan are both still 'alive' and where we
don't need rock and roll because everyone is strong. A lovely melodic catchy
pop song which must be filed alongside the pop-trendies Jack Penate and Kate
Nash, although this has a lot more soul and substance to it. Expect label
interest and appearances in Q magazine sometime soon" - Rockbeatstone
Magazine

BEAR HUG: Bear Hug is a London band with four people in it, three boys & one
girl to be precise. They like to make pop songs with harmonies and wiggly
bits.

THE MAGIC: Based in London (though within easy reach of Essex), The Magic
have spent the last few years bringing their stageshow to cities throughout
the UK. One percussionist, a keyboard and three bass players later, they
have finally found a sound they are happy with, something they like to think
is similar to that of The Police, Bloc Party and various other bands they
like, but to others' ears probably quite different. Still (relatively)
young, The Magic continue to play across London and beyond, though they
haven't really supported any famous bands. Not just yet anyway.

James(The Coral) went last night and did a 15-minute set, how great was that! Nice fellow!
