Essentially they don't work
either a notepad or a good memory is essential if you want to know how many shots you've taken. Just get some slide film, cross process it and you'll forget it was ever a problem.

got it in the January sales and its very pocketable too, in every sense of the word.

on the Digital Camera Boom...very much as the polaroid-camera pedo-peak (PC-PP) did in the older times...
If you're just looking for snaps...
get a phone with a decent camera, that way it's always with you and gets used far more. In my experience, if you buy a separate camera you hardly ever have it with you when you're out and about and many potential photo opportunities are lost!
Obviously they're crap if you want to do more serious photography.
the camera on my phone is alright
but it's nothing amazing i've got these big trips coming up and stuff and just really want a properly dedicated camera

i have one of those panasonic lumix ones
and i <3 it. it helps me look like i take good pictures, when the camera does most (read: all) the work for me.
