http://www.dra-mata.com/misc/brawl/

FF7 score

amazing.

second

-

final fantasy 6 though

and the opera bit.

Sensible Soccer

1996 Euro Championship edition

Pro Evo 5 – When you win the Konami Cup

Final Fantasy VII – Inside the Shinra Building
Castlevania Dracula X – Last boss theme
Sonic 2 – Casino Night Zone

SecI used to think Secret of Mana

pissed on all other game soundtracks from a great height. But the Final Fantasy series are equally as good (5 to 7).

Road Rash

Sonic The Hedgehog
Mario Bros.
Everything Sega and Nintendo have done, basically.

Theme tune to Cannon Fodder

back in the day...

this ^

cannon fodder theme is brillaint

this is pretty cool
http://youtube.com/watch?v=F7XiXQ6wEyM

theres even a music video with tanks

zelda

anyone who says otherwise has a frankfurter for a penis.

Freedom Fighters / FF7

I have a frankfurter for a penis and I'm proud!

what happened to diodave

diodave?

Oh him

He died.

Yeah

Ocarina of Time, Good orchestration and bad ass game. Plus classic Zelda, song sticks in my head.

I agree

but i have a frankfurter for a penis anyway. What's wrong with me?

If memory serves...

the music for Streets Of Rage 3 on the Megadrive was fucking amazing! Especially the final two levels.

Better than a cocktail sausage

I have a promo of the soundtracks for the Zelda games. Sadly, it doesn't include the music from Twilight Princess, which was incredible.

this.

Lylat Wars 64 soundtrack is pretty good too.

Either,

Toejam & Earl or Streets of Rage for me.

my personal favourites

speedball II
Xenon II
Turrican II
Nitro
Stardust

^Turrican 2!

Get in! And Hiphop on Precinct 13 from Xenon 2 is pretty sweet as well. It's all been downhill since the Amiga!

I'll go now.

Not strictly

music from a video game but YMCK are the greatest 8-bit band on the planet.

I still love

the music for Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap!

Otherwise, Zelda, Mario; I don't know if it's just one person, but Nintendo have churned out some great music over the years. I had the Miller's Theme as my ringtone for a while. Happy days indeed...

wonderboy 3 music is ace

im gonna rip it off

didnt trent reznor

do quake 2 soundtrack? pretty sure he did
back on the topic my vote goes for streets of rage, or revenge of shinobi on megadrive

Sir, may i point you towards

Megadriver - SWORD, SHURIKINS & FISTS

http://www.megadriver.com.br/sitev2.html

Free download. Great stuff.

I thought it was the original quake

I didn;t have it though..you needed the cd version..i only downloaded it

Shenmue 1 and 2

Jet Set Radio/JSRF
Space Channel 5
Streets of Rage
Sonic 3 (some of the music was created by Michael Jackson)

and of course....

OUTRUN!

The music

for both Shenmue games was great... I think I collected all the cassettes too :D

WINNAR :D

I had all the tapes but I never managed to get that feckin boombox from the raffles. Just had to use Tom's whenever I was passing the hotdog stand.

Did you win both Sega Saturn discs? I did.

Good Times.

Super Mario Galaxy

Legend of Zelda games
FF7
Shadow of the Colossus
Streets of Rage..

shadow of the collossus?

the 'rave tunnel' music from killer7
zeldarr has some pretty memorable stuff, esp. links awakening for me.
super mario galaxy

Golden Axe

Alex Kidd in Miracle World
Super Mario Bros Ghost House Levels

Fifa Street!

because the music is just. so. funny.

Civilization IV

Just for Christopher Tin's composition 'Baba Yetu', which is ace.

To the person who mentioned Wonderboy III: The Dragon's Trap

I'm really pleased someone else remembers that game.

As for best music: Final Fantasy 8 or 9 (hell any of the soundtracks from FF6 to FF9)

It was great wasn't it!

I saw it once in Gamestation for £9.99 and thought "ten quid? for a master system game? i don't think so!", but have regretted it ever since.

Definitely

One of the best Master System games ever.

Rob Hubbard

did all the best stuff in the old days, Nemesis the Warlock in C64 e.g.

Indeed...

Rob Hubbard, Tim Follin, Martin Galway etc were the best back in the day.

More recently, the end theme from Portal is great.

shadow of tthe colossus

hands down. ico and metal gear solid also good.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1/2/3

I listened to them again about a year ago, these songs are basically the soundtrack of my childhood, unbeatable!

For original music created for a videogame

I would go with Rome: Total War, its amazing!

red alert!

used to love some of the tunes on the old streets of rage on the mega drive too. classic stuff.

shadow of the beast

made the hairs on back of my neck stand up...at the time i should stress.

Another...

vote here for FFVII. If only for 'One Winged Angel'.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn71hIsm0U8

Let it kick in around 2 minutes.

guitar solo!!!!!

when you died !

Secret of Mana

gets my vote. Still haunting, even in 8-bit grainy mp3 rips from the original audio.

Tony Hawk's

Purely for Superman by Goldfinger...brings a nostalgic tear to the eye to this day when I hear it.

Rock n Roll Racing

paranoid
born to be wild

sum classic rock

ZERO WING

Not only did this game give us some of the greatest engrish ever (All your base are belong to us) but it gave us one of the best soundtracks ever! It's like The Fucking Champs done on a Mega Drive sound chip, it's so A+ that I've uploaded it:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/hjgg1h

Rob Hubbard was indeed a don!

But I like the Grand Theft Auto Vice City and San Andreas soundtracks. Saints Row is pretty cool as well, got meinto old 80's Hairmetal bands like Slaughter and Bang Tango. There is a cool hip hop track from Bathgate called Everythings A Go which i am having a mare tracking down.

Sonic 1 on the Mega Drive

Green Hill Zone.

go fo the goal

pro evolution 2008 ...its hilariously bad
all the songs are about scoring goals
